Reading Task- An Alien Setting

Here is what I posted on our blog this morning for anyone having trouble getting in. I think there must be lots of people trying to use it at the same time. MyMaths still seems to be working OK at the moment. Miss Bush :)

Hello everyone. I hope you have enjoyed the Spring sunshine this weekend.

This morning I have added two MyMaths activities. One is to do with positional language and the other is Multiplication and division.

Remember you can use any objects you have at home to help you with the multiplication and division. This could be buttons, lego bricks, beads and so on. You can also draw out the arrays and find the equal groups like we do at school.

For English we have been learning about question marks....... ?

In your green books you took home can you write some questions you could ask someone in your home? You could think about favourite colours, favourite type of food, favourite hobbies and so on.

Example- What is your favourite colour?

Remember your capital letter at the start of the question and a ? mark at the end.

Remember all the lesson formations we have been practising.

Ask the questions. You might find out something new!

Letter formation guide. The dots show you where to start your letter
