Tigers' Biscuit Sale
In January, we held a very successful biscuit sale where we sold biscuits we had made to raise money for the Rainbows Children's Hospice.
A Midsummer Night's Dream
In the Spring term we took part in a workshop to learn about Shakespeare's play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. We thoroughly enjoyed taking on the roles of characters in the play and using some of Shakespeare's language.
Hampton Court Palace
In May we visited Hampton Court Palace as part of our learning on the Tudors. It was incredible to be able to explore the rooms where Henry VIII once lived. We learnt what life was like in the palace during the Tudor times by exploring the kitchens, the Great Hall and even the tennis courts!
World War One Project
This term we are learning about World War 1. We are working with Rugby Art Gallery and Museum to find out about 11 soldiers from Rugby who fought in the First World War. Their names appear on either the Rugby or Hillmorton War Memorial. We visited the museum to find out about life in the trenches and to explore documents for details on our soldiers.
