Curriculum Intent

When planning our curriculum, Cawston Grange Primary has considered the needs of our pupils and families. We want learning to be meaningful and memorable so that our pupils are ready for the next step in their journey. Developing the whole child is of the utmost importance and, with this in mind, we offer a broad and balance curriculum which encompasses academic subjects, the arts, sports and SMSC. The curriculum is taught with consideration of the needs of all learners, including recognition of their diversity of cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

After consultation with staff, we reflected on what our curriculum would look like to a child in our school. We believe that our approach will create life long learners who are prepared for the exciting adventures ahead.

For more information about our curriculum, please visit each subject page.  If you still can't find the answers you are looking for, don't hesitate to contact us using admin3594@welearn365.com.

Our curriculum intent is underpinned by the National Curriculum. Subject Leaders have worked hard to ensure learning is based in meaningful contexts that build upon each other as children progress through school. Please see our curriculum plans on each subject page. The way we implement our learning culture is demonstrated in the word cloud above.  Our staff continually reflect on the impact of our teaching through a whole school monitoring programme.

The most important element of our school is that pupils are challenged, supported, prepared and happy learners.
