Summer 1 - How did Florence Nightingale change hospitals?

UK Day (9.3.23). First we played in the snow. Then we learnt about Wales. We made a daffodil because it is the symbol of Wales. Next we learnt about Northern Ireland and had a go at Irish dancing. Finally, we learnt about Scotland and we had our own Highland Games. We (Hedgehogs) were Clan Douglas and the Zebras were Clan Campbell. It was s draw and we had a fantastic time.

We were lucky enough to meet an author and illustrator: Mini Grey. We had so much fun dressing up and attended a workshop. What do you think of our illustrations?

Spring 2 - The United Kingdom

We had so much fun combining all of our art skills into one huge portrait (influences were Pablo Picasso, Jakkrit Chewapanya and Paul Klee). We enjoyed parents coming into our art studio and seeing our masterpieces. Thank you!

Our Pablo Picasso portraits.

In English we were using drama to tell part of our 'Toby and the Great Fire of London' story.
