This half term we became designers. These are our creations made from nature!

In computing we made a Thaumatrope to understand the basics of animation.
We made microhabitats in out outdoor learning area.
We became designers for the day!
We were inspired by Cedella Marley and Stella McCartney to make our own sports clothes. We made our designs come to life by attaching them to little models.
Animation
We used stop motion animation to create animations of each other!
Making 3D shapes
We made these 3D shapes and labelled the faces, edges and vertices.
Teddy Bear Blankets
In Art and Design, we looked at the work of different designers and patterns from around the world. We then developed our own ideas to make patterns with block printing, applique and tie-dying.
Year 2 - In Art and Design we have developed our use of line, colour, shape, layering and collage to create these abstract portraits.
Year 2 - Our dance performance - throwing snowballs freeze-frames, travelling by aeroplane and following each other on an adventure to the Arctic!
We had great fun learning outdoors and building our own wattle and daub walls!
