• Harvest Festival, Friday 7 October, 9.00am

  The School’s Harvest Festival will take place next Friday 7 October at 9.00am led by Year 6 Polar Bears.  This harvest we are asking you to help feed local people in crisis by collecting tinned and dried food for Rugby foodbank. 

   

  Even a relatively small problem can throw people living on the edge of poverty into crisis.  Every day local people are forced to send their children to bed hungry, but the good news is that you can be part of the solution.  By simply donating a tin of food you are helping make a difference in the community you live in.  The food bank requires foods from the list below to make up balanced food parcels:-

   

              Milk (UHT or powdered)                                 Sugar (500g)

              Long life fruit juice                                           Pasta Sauce

              Sponge pudding (tinned)                                 Tinned vegetables

              Rice pudding (tinned)                                      Instant coffee

              Hot chocolate                                                  Biscuits/Snack bars

              Instant mash potato                                        Rice (500g)

              Tinned meat or fish                                         Tinned fruit

              Jam                                                                 Loo rolls

              Toiletries

• Parking On Site

  May I remind all parents that they are not allowed to park on the school site without permission at the beginning and end of the day.  The community hall is available for parking and should you require a school parking permit please bring your blue badge to the school office.

• Friends of Cawston Grange PTA Meeting

  The first meeting of the new school year is on Tuesday 20 September at 7.00pm in the school staffroom. All welcome.

• Teacher-Family Consultation Evenings

  Consultation evenings are Wednesday 14 September and Thursday 15 September.  An appointment can be made on our online booking system at

  https://cawstongrangeprimaryschool.parentseveningsystem.co.uk.  The booking system will be open from 5.00pm today and will close on Monday 12 September at 7:30pm. I will be available on either evening for any parent who would like to make an appointment to see me, if this is not convenient please contact the office to arrange an alternative date and time.
