• Easter Discos

  We have decided to change disco arrangements due to the growing number of pupils.

  • EYFS and Year 1 will have their Easter disco in school on Thursday 6 April from 2.00pm-3.00pm. This will be led by their teachers and teaching assistants. Pupils may wear their ‘disco’ clothes to school that day. The PTA will support the disco with refreshments. A voluntary contribution of £1.00 would be appreciated.
  • Year 2 to 6 Easter disco will be held that evening, Thursday 6 April, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. This is a child only event and due to safeguarding procedures parents are asked not to stay. Please see PTA news for further information on ticket sales and pick up and drop off.

• Parents Meeting, Online Safety Awareness - Wednesday 22 March

  As I am sure you know E-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Cawston Grange Primary. We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material.

   

  In order to ensure 360 degree safeguarding we are sure you will agree that as parents you too will play a pivotal role in helping to keep your children safe online and well informed. To that end, on Wednesday 22 March at 7pm, we will be hosting a guest speaker who will be sharing information and suggestions designed to help you understand the dangers and pitfalls of our digital environments. The content will be aimed at adults therefore children will not be invited on this occasion.

• Reading Champions

  Could you spare one or two hours every day to champion reading across the school? This voluntary job would have a huge impact on pupil progress but would require considerable commitment. Training would be given and DBS clearance required.

• Additional Teacher Training Day

  Please be advised that due to an essential training day for all staff on Monday 24 April, school will reopen after the Easter holidays on Tuesday 25 April at 8.40am.
